So a little about me, without getting too personal.. I live in Toronto, mid-twenties, working full time, papercrafting part time, crazy cat lady to be, love soccer, snowboarding, and generally just being outdoors. I'd like to one day maybe own my own shop or run my own business of some sort.
First rant, then I'll get to posting my first creation. The heating/AC unit in my condo broke. I live in a fairly new building and it just decided to crap out this year. The repair work to fix the main problem is so expensive that the contractor has managed to convince me to replace the whole thing. $3000. There goes all my Christmas present money! I will be living off KD for 2012.
Anyway, I'm trying to stay positive. I get to stay home today and watch this guy install the new unit, while I work from home. =p
My mom describes my scrapbooking style as being "over-embellished". Can such a thing exist?? I've been trying to tone it down. Sucks less creative juices out of me and I have more to show at the end of the day if I don't spend it all trying to coordinate everything perfectly. I had a really cute picture of my sister and the puppy from this summer that I'd been wanting to scrapbook. I finally did this past weekend. Used my Silhouette to cut out the title and photo border. I can also attach those too! I'll just have to figure out how!
